Daily Dua’s
The word “Dua’a” is derived from the word “Da’a” which means “called”. So, we can say that “Dua’a” means the noun “call”.
The technical or Islamic meaning is to “pray or ask Allah to have something fulfilled”. Allah glory be to him said in the Qur’an
“﴿وَقالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادعوني أَستَجِب لَكُم …]
(60) And your Lord says, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you…”
What is the language a Muslim should use to make Dua’a?
A Muslim can pry Allah using his own language and own words because this is a bond between the Muslim and his creator, however, there are some supplications prophet Muhammad PBUH used to say routinely and at specific times; these supplications are really masterpieces! These supplications give us extra bonus, and as you know we worship Allah as prophet Muhammad used to.
One more thing Allah, prophet Muhammad is the means between us and Allah, and Allah said in the Qur’an
﴿وَما يَنطِقُ عَنِ الهَوىإِن هُوَ إِلّا وَحيٌ يوحى﴾
[النجم: ٣-
(3) Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination.
(4) It is not but a revelation revealed,
